I can’t believe it’s the final Wednesday of the regular season. For those of you still playing to the bitter end trying to bring home those championships, let’s see who’s performing of late and who may be available to help you over the final few days of the 2023 campaign.

TJ Friedl, OF, Cincinnati Reds

It has been a minute since TJ Friedl appeared in one of my pickup pieces, but he’s hard to ignore on his current scorcher. After a 1-for-4 game with a home run (his fourth in as many games), a walk and a pair of runs scored, the Reds outfielder is now slashing .383/.491/.872 over his last 14 games. He has been held hitless in just two of those contests and has racked up six home runs, 13 RBI and 11 runs scored with a pair of stolen bases.
